Hi, I’m Stephanie and I am a crocheter, pattern designer, multi-crafter and web designer. My Grandpa nicknamed me Cookie the day I came bouncing into this world and the name has stuck all through the years. Since my Grandma taught me to crochet, I thought it was just right to honor them both by using my nickname and carrying on the tradition. Grandma taught me to crochet the basics at a very young age. I remember the first thing I made was tiny blankets for my dolls. I stopped crocheting for a while as life got busy. Then, after my husband passed away, my daughter asked me to teach her to crochet so I picked up my hooks again and haven’t put them back down. At first, I found patterns to follow online. It wasn’t long before I was making up patterns as I go. Then, I decided to write some of my patterns down for others to enjoy.
With over 30 years crocheting experience, you can be sure each item is handmade with quality and care. Stitches are even and ends are tied and/or stitched into the work for lasting quality.
A little about me: First and most important, I am a born again Christian and I only get through each day by the grace of God. I graduated from North Arkansas College with a degree in Art. I come from a long line of crafters. My mom is very talented in anything she undertakes. My daughter is a wonderful graphite artist and you can see her work at Blind Streak Art. I have owned a website design company for the past 17 years and lived in the Ozarks for 20 years. After my husband went to Heaven, I moved to Oklahoma where I am now. I custom crochet orders from all over the US and Canada, ensuring your item is exactly the size and color you are wanting. I also enjoy crocheting for charities such as NICU preemie hats and newborn booties for Gifts for the Unborn. I have recently opened up a chapter of Chase the Chill, here in Oklahoma. We make scarves for the homeless and leave them tied about town help keep others warm.
I hope you enjoy browsing my fiber art and if you’d like something made, feel free to contact me.
